The New American eatery, with a high-end focus on comfort food and small plates, opened quietly on Friday, Nov. 3 in Peekskill. Among the items on the menu: wild striped bass, Ora king salmon, charred octopus, beer-steamed mussels, and a selection of East and West Coast oysters.
The restaurant is a partnership with Louie Lanza (of the Hudson Hospitality Group), John Sharp (of Peekskill's Gleasons and Birdsall House) and Scott Vaccaro (founder/owner of Captain Lawrence Brewing Company in Elmsford).
It's located inside Factoria, Westchester's new entertainment/events property, which also houses River Outpost Brewing (open but not yet brewing) and Spins Hudson.
Finn & Brew is open Thursday to Sunday starting at 5 p.m, and is located at 5 John Walsh Blvd., 914- 788-4555.
